Stores Delivery System

STORES OUTPUT: This system is situated at the end of the production line.  The lenses have been placed into boxes and need to be stored until they are dispatched to the customer.  They are stored in five fully automated stores.  Our system conveys the each box to its store position.  Boxed lenses are manually placed on an infeed conveyor. Barcodes are checked and the boxes automatically placed onto an inclined conveyor leading to the stores. Boxes are allocated a destination of either Store 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.

STORES OUTPUT: When the company receives an orders for a pair of lenses the details are entered into a computer system which sends a request to the stores controller. Lenses are then transferred automatically from the stores into trays and then conveyed to the dispatch department.
